project summary

Growth and development of the Utica and Marcellus shales plays has resulted in constraints for getting propane and butane to the market.

Marginal Northeast LPG production is being sent long distances to the Gulf Coast for export. Without the development of infrastructure to offer other options, this will not change. By locating facilities on the Delaware River, Artemis is able to provide Marcellus and Utica producers with a lower cost outlet versus expensive alternatives.

Our project will rail LPG’s from the fractionators in the Marcellus/Utica to its terminal facility on the Delaware River in New Jersey. The project will be capable of handling unit trains with onsite storage that will allow for sales into the VLGC waterborne market, offering producers the opportunity to realize premium international prices for their LPG.
