Tioga LNG is a small-scale LNG liquefaction and export facility proposed to be built in the deepwater port of Philadelphia. Once in service, this first of its kind project will link the growing Pennsylvania shale production to emerging near-shore markets. These natural resource limited destinations are often ill suited for more traditional methods of delivering/receiving natural gas and, until now, have had few cost-effective options to procure lower carbon, more cost-effective sources of fuel.
